Katja Buhrer

Katja is a biotech executive with more than 20 years experience in corporate strategy, investor relations advisory, business operations, and banking. She is currently Senior Vice President, Head of Corporate Affairs and Strategy at Century Therapeutics. Previously Katja served as Chief Strategy Officer at ObsEva SA, and Chief Operating Officer at KindredBio following its acquisition by Elanco in 2021, a process which she led.

She has significant strategic and transaction experience, having overseen corporate development, business development, and fundraising strategy across various roles. Her experience is further informed by earlier positions in investor relations advisory, financial journalism, and capital markets banking. Katja received her BA in Commerce and Liberal Arts from the University of New South Wales.
